A Wave

“Not only does it hold the key to unlock the jail cell for me, but it also works for others trapped in self.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Excerpt from Easy Does It

All the ‘ghosts that never were’ could be traced to one major fear: that of the unknown. We distrusted people, places, and things. Now we welcome them. Our new friends, surroundings tools for living are lifesaving. Our Program teaches us to trust ourselves, others, and our Higher Power. The rest takes care of itself. The only things I used to trust were those things I was addicted to. When I began to put my trust in the Program and my Higher Power, the destruction stopped and recovery began.

We have many uncontrollable circumstances in our lives, but we don't have to give ourselves over to them. A man's body may be in jail while in his heart he is free. We build a home for our spirits by maintaining contact with our Higher Power and working with others. We are always within the circle of God’s love. Always! Today, I will remember that the frustrations around me are not all of who I am. When I am at peace within, I embrace and live among spiritual riches.

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day Think of all people you meet as guests in your Father's house, to be treated with love and consideration. Look at yourself as a servant in your Father's house, as a servant of all. Think of no work as beneath you. Be ever ready to do all you can for others who need your help. There is gladness in God's service. There is much satisfaction in serving the highest that you know. Express your love for God in service to all who are living with you in your Father's house. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may serve others out of gratitude to God. I pray that my work may be a small repayment for His grace so freely given me.
