A Wave

July 6, 2026

“Happiness is a byproduct, not from a chase of what I think I want.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

A Program for You

Reacting to others with resentments and anger puts yourself in their power. When all wrapped up in resentment, you become completely dominated by the world and by other people. As a result, what other people, institutions and principles do determine who you are, what you think, and how you act. As long as you cling to your anger, other people control your actions and your life.

The Art of Happiness

As a psychiatrist, I could rarely recall having heard the word “happiness” even mentioned as a therapeutic objective. Yet, applying a meditative practice along the lines of Tibetan word Sem ( ’psyche’ or ‘spirit’ ), we can develop a meditative discipline to train the mind and gradually eliminate those factors which lead to suffering and cultivate those which lead to happiness. That is the way.

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day Never let yourself think you cannot do something useful or that you will never be able to accomplish a useful task. The fact is that you can do practically anything in the field of human relationships, if you are willing to call on God's supply of strength. The supply may not be immediately available, because you may not be entirely ready to receive it. But it will surely come when you are properly prepared for it. As you grow spiritually, a feeling of being plentifully supplied by God's strength will possess you and you will be able to accomplish many useful things. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may claim God's supply of strength by my faith in Him. I pray that it shall be given to me according to my faith.
