A Wave

May 11, 2026

“Reading the meditations today, thinking about my brother’s passing this past week, the root cause of anxiety, fears, and other ailments is a false belief of “I am not enough.””

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

Everyone needs help. Everything in nature gives to other living beings; no one can do it all alone. All good things are overseen and supported by a Higher Power. Do all you can do without anxiety or struggle, and trust Spirit to do the rest. Today, I invite You to be my partner; to do for me what I cannot do for myself. Empowered by Your Spirit, I let go of fear & struggle as I step into the path of joy.

The Courage to Be

Paul Tillich

"You are accepted!" ... “You are accepted by that which is greater than you & the name of which you do not know. Do not ask the name now, perhaps you will know it later. Do not try to do anything; perhaps later you will do much. Do not seek for anything, do not perform anything and do not intend anything. Simply accept the fact you are accepted.”

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Hazelden Foundation

Meditation for the Day “I must learn to accept self-discipline. I must not let myself go into resentments, hates, fears, pride, lust, or gossip. Even if the discipline keeps me separated from some people who are without discipline, nevertheless I will carry on. I may have different ways, a different standard of living or be activated by different motives than others. But I will try to live the way I believe God wants me to live, no matter what others say. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may be an example to others of a better way of living. I pray that I may carry on in spite of hindrances.”
