“That Something still would, if I let it.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Stepping Stones: More Daily Meditations

Hazelden Foundation

“On the spiritual path, we learn to say, ‘I have enough. I am enough. All is well; I am in the care of my Higher Power.’ We can't say it once and have it settled. Just as we practice healthy eating habits or safe driving, this is known as spiritual practice, because we continue doing it. Yet, often, we forget the reassurance, and we need to keep returning to it. Something changes inside when we accept that we can be at peace, and we can be happy, even when we don't have everything we want. Today, I live with satisfaction that I have enough.”

Meditation for the Day

Hazelden Foundation

“Build your life on the firm foundation of true gratitude to God for all His blessings and true humility because of your unworthiness of these blessings. Build the frame of your life out of self-discipline; never let yourself get selfish, lazy or content with yourself. Build the walls of your life out of service to others, helping them to find the way to live. Build the roof of your life out of prayer and quiet times, waiting for God's guidance from above. Build a garden around your life out of peace of mind and serenity and a sure faith. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may build my life on A.A. principles. I pray that it may be a good building when my work is finished.”
