A Wave

December 23, 2025

“Thank You, God, for Your wake-up call to life, from a frown to a Smile!”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Easy Does It: A Book of Daily 12 Step Meditations

Anonymous

All of us have things we regret. But when regret takes possession of our thoughts and lives, we are in trouble. ‘What if I had chosen a different career?’ ‘What if I hadn't (or had stayed) married? ‘What if I hadn’t become alcoholic?’ These are questions we all ask ourselves. The fact is that each day is a new beginning! The answer today doesn't lie in past decisions. To concentrate on lost opportunities, or wish the past was different leads to despair. All we can do is the best we can do at any given moment. Today, I will take time to focus on the blessings in my life, and write them down.

365 Science of Mind

Ernest Holmes

The kingdom of heaven is already hidden within us. The field that contains this hidden treasure is our own soul. The priceless pearl is covered by the hardened shell of experience. We must learn to see God at the center of our being.

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Hazelden Foundation

Meditation for the Day “Shed peace, not discord, wherever you go. Try to be part of the cure of every situation, not part of the problem. Try to ignore evil, rather than to actively combat it. Always try to build up, never to tear down. Show others by your example that happiness comes from living the right way. The power of your example is greater than the power of what you say. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may try to bring something good into every situation today. I pray that I may be constructive in the way I think and speak and act today.”
