A Wave

December 9, 2025

“The more I open my heart and learn to let go, the bigger and more beautiful my world is.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

While the ego perceives that withholding love is protecting us, it only hurts us. In our efforts to punish another, we punish ourselves. Whenever we withhold love, we are the one who loses. In attempting to maintain worldly security, we lose our spiritual security. Only giving love can keep us secure. Love is the real food of our soul; the way we get more is by giving it away. Begin to discover where you are holding back from giving what would heal you; there you will find the doorway to the peace you seek. Today, I ask You to show me where and how I can love more; to give all the love I would gladly receive. The more I give love, the happier I am.

God Calling

A. J. Russell

All men seek for Me, but all men do not know what they want. They are seeking because they are dissatisfied without realizing that I am the object of their quest.

Daily Reflections

Daily Reflections

I must work on sincerity, honesty, and to learn to act with humility. Carrying the message is a gift of myself, no matter how many years of sobriety I may have. My dreams can become reality. I solidify my sobriety by sharing what I have received freely. As I look back to that time when I began my recovery, there was already a seed of hope that I could help another drunk pull himself out of his alcoholic mire. My wish to help another drunk is the key to my spiritual health. But I never forget that God acts through me. I am only His instrument.

Twenty-Four Hours A Day

Hazelden Foundation

Meditation for the Day “We are all seeking something, but many do not know what they want in life. We are seeking something because they are restless and dissatisfied. Many of us are at least subconsciously seeking for a Power greater than ourselves because that would give a meaning to our existence. If you have found that Higher Power, you can be the means of leading others aright, by showing them that their search for meaning to life will end when they find faith and trust in God as the answer. Prayer for the Day I pray that my soul will lose its restlessness by finding rest in God. I pray that I may find peace of mind in the thought of God and His purpose for my life.”
