A Wave

“My reaction comes from a sense of awe, wonder and gratitude.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

“When we say no to love, the contrast between what the love offered us and what we tried to exchange it for is obvious. We recognize without a doubt that the good we renounced was indeed in our best interests. Then we can pursue it with an open and whole heart. When we regain it, we know it is ours; it is our new consciousness. Perhaps we had to say no first so we could become sure of the yes we eventually declare. Today, I come to You with an open and grateful heart; that I may embrace the call of love, and renounce any delusions that fear could offer.”

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day “Constantly claim God's strength. Once convinced of the right of a course of action, once reasonably sure of God's guidance, claim that strength now. You can claim all the strength you need to meet any situation. You can claim a new supply when your own supply is exhausted. You have a right to claim it and you should use your right. A beggar supplicates, a son appropriates. When you supplicate, you are often kept waiting, but when you appropriate God's strength in a good cause, you have it at once. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may claim God's strength whenever I need it. I pray that I may try to live as a child of God.”
