A Wave

March 18, 2025

“Letting go takes action; then miracles happen.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Letters for your Spiritual Journey

Sandy Beach

“I read once about a spiritual master who suggested to a novice this spiritual goal. He said, ‘When you wash a glass just wash the glass.’ His advice sounds so simple. Yet, following it is so very, very difficult. Isn't it true that when we wash a glass, often we are thinking about what has to be done later, or possibly what we forgot to do earlier? In a spiritual sense, we are not present at the washing of the glass! The lesson of simplicity is to always be present in the Now. Simply focus 100% on the task at hand; it’s the key to freedom from problems of the past & future. The problems themselves are not solved in the traditional sense; they are simply removed because they are not part of ‘washing the glass.’ Joy comes from an inner awareness that we are close to our Higher Power, that we are lucky to be alive, and to be performing any task at all!”

What is success

Ralph Waldo Emerson

“…to give oneself; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm; and sung with exultation; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

Thought for the Day

Thought for the Day “All we really have is now. We have no past time and no future time. As the saying goes: "Yesterday is gone, forget it; tomorrow never comes, don't worry; today is here, get busy." All we have is the present. The past is gone forever and the future never comes. When tomorrow gets here, it will be today. Am I living one day at a time? Meditation for the Day Persistence is necessary if you are to advance in spiritual things. By persistent prayer, persistent, firm, and simple trust, you achieve the treasures of the spirit. By persistent practice, you can eventually obtain joy, peace, assurance, security, health, happiness, and serenity. Nothing is too great, in the spiritual realm, for you to obtain, if you persistently prepare yourself for it. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may persistently carry out my spiritual exercises every day. I pray that I may strive for peace and serenity.”
