A Wave

March 14, 2025

“the recovery process, like the lunar eclipse, uncovers the beautiful and shining expressions of God's love, shining bright in my heart.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

You Are Inherently Deserving

All of us want some degree of fame, or at least to be seen, acknowledged, or maybe even admired. Deep down, our desire for recognition is protection from our ultimate fear—the fear of not being. Understanding that both self and life are impermanent is key to working with this obsession. Instead of chasing safety where it cannot be found, we can accept that true safety lies in seeing our lives as they really are. Once we’ve begun to align ourselves with the fact that things constantly change—that we constantly change—we can take back our own power. Instead of letting others establish our self-worth, we can recognize that there’s nothing we need to earn, nothing we need to prove. We matter simply because we are, for as long as we are.

Ishida Baigan

Ishida Baigan realized that humanity's true nature was egoless. In his writings, he pointed out that once one understood this aspect of human nature, one's life would automatically coincide with what he called the "universal principle" and one's kokoro ("soul" or "spirit") would be content and at peace.

The Simplicity of Divine Love

Richard Rohr

Divine love can only be experienced and not proved by rational logic. The prophets claim such divine experience and tell us that we can and must, too. This is their one absolute foundation. Their radical center on which the entire rest of their message is built makes them unlike any other kind of teacher. Anything that gets in the way of this divine and absolute love must be shaved away.

How It Works

He is the Father, and we are His children. Most good ideas are simple, and this concept was the keystone of the new and triumphant arch through which we passed to freedom.

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day Persevere in all that God's guidance moves you to do. The persistent carrying out of what seems right and good will bring you to that place where you would be. If you look back over God's guidance, you will see that His leading has been very gradual and that only as you have carried out His wishes, as far as you can understand them, has God been able to give you more clear and definite leading. You are led by God's touch on a quickened, responsive mind. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may persevere in doing what seems right. I pray that I may carry out all of God's leading, as far as I can understand it.
