Our purpose in this life goes unfulfilled when we're consumed by resentments and fear. In recovery, we know God hopes we'll attend to develop a forgiving and courageous heart. Peace and joy are part of God's will for each of us. Just as God gave Moses the 10 Commandments, He has given us the 12 Steps. Working them one by one with a sponsor, I'm glad to be alive today. I give thanks for the gift and pathway to a life filled with new promises each day.

The plural of kedushah is Kedushoth or Kedushot. It comes from the Hebrew word kadosh (קְדוש), which means "holy" or "set apart. · There is holiness when we strive to be true to the best we know. · There is holiness when we are kind to someone who cannot possibly be of service to us. · There is holiness when we promote family harmony. · There is holiness when we forget what divides us and remember what unites us. · There is holiness when we love truly and honestly and unselfishly. · There is holiness when we remember the lonely and bring cheer into a dark corner.

The game of enlightenment is not about going out and getting something we do not have, or becoming something we are not. We are already enlightened; we have simply covered our wisdom. Our task now is to discover the rocks blocking our light. Health, happiness, and success are our birthright, and we carry all we need within us to manifest all the good we seek. But first we must remove everything from our consciousness that works against the full expression of what we are. What rocks are in your bowl? Begin to note the beliefs and attitudes you hold that stand between you and the Light that you are. When you let go of one of these impediments, you release your true essence to shine. Help me to release anything that stands between me and the expression of Your Light; to live fully as You created me, a Light of the world.
