A Wave

October 6, 2026 · thailand

“On the 6pm Men’s Zoom, with Brent joining in from Thailand, the love & openness gave hope to all. Laughter at our egos trying to manage or judge everything is common. So much better than building a wall to prevent others from knowing our true selves.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Reciprocal Strength

“I’ve likened that transforming instant in my life, when my despair gave way to a glimmer of hope; a tiny flower sprung into bloom amid the bombed-out wreckage of my life run on self-will. Thanks to the unexpected miracle of recovery, that tiny bloom was to become a garden.”

Conversion Through Creation

“Contemplation is a penetrating gaze that gets to the truth of reality. Conversion is a slow, lifelong process. It is a constant effort, one day at a time, moving away from self-centered attitudes and behaviors toward God-centered relationships. With this movement toward God, there is a gradual change in one’s consciousness or awareness of others and in one’s relationship to others. Each moment, growth will continue to blossom.”

Twenty-Four Hours A Day

Meditation for the Day “The Unseen God can help to make us truly grateful and humble. Cling to faith in God and in His power to change our ways; our faith in an Unseen God will be rewarded by a useful and serviceable life. God will not fail to show us the way we should live, when in real gratitude and true humility we turn to Him. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may believe that God can change me. I pray that I may be always willing to be changed for the better.”
