“I get to live with the 12- Step design that puts a Power greater than Me in the driver's seat.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

“In this world, we will not escape making some plans. Meetings, family life and businesses call for blueprints. Many of us plan, not out of necessity, but out of fear that if we had unscheduled time on our hands, we would be lost. To the contrary, we would be found. We don’t have to set up our whole life. Today, I turn my schedule over to You; I trust You to arrange all meetings and events for me far more effectively than I could arrange for myself.”

The Daily Reader for Contemplative Living

Thomas Keating

“Faith is a leap into the unknown. Experience confirms wisdom of every act of trust; a step into the darkness of faith that leads to understanding. Like everyone else, God wants to be accepted as He is. The spirit of God happens to be infinite, incomprehensible, inexpressible. It is only when we can accept God as He is that we can give up our desire for control. Faith matures as we become at ease when His presence. One who has this faith simply opens his eyes and, wherever he or she looks, finds God.”

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day "When God finds two or three people in union, who only want His will to be done, who want only to serve Him, He has a plan that can be revealed to them. The grace of God can come to people who are together in one place with one accord. A union like this is miracle-working. God is able to use such people. Only good can come through, brought together for a single purpose and of a single mind. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may be part of a unified group. I pray that I may contribute my share to its consecrated purpose.”
