A Wave

“I had burned every bridge, chance & opportunity; I had been asking for help, but didn’t know from whom or what?”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

"I am not a happy man," admitted the monarch. "My emotions are driving me crazy. When I win a battle, I’m elated. When I lose, I’m depressed. My happiness seems to come and go like a feather dancing on the wind. Can you help me?" The advisor thought for a moment and answered, "I will return with help in three days." He came back with a ring that he had forged for the king. When the king read its inscription, he found the peace that he sought; "This Too Shall Pass." The sage was right. In the long run, the good always offsets the bad. Today, help me remember the big picture and to trust all of the changes in life, knowing that You are present and that, “This too shall pass."

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day God is your healer and your strength. He is always with you in spirit. Could you know God's love and His desire to help you, you would know that He needs no pleading for help. Your need is God's opportunity; learn to rely on God's strength whenever you need it. Whenever you feel inadequate to any situation, realize that any feeling of inadequacy is a disloyalty to God. Say to yourself: I know that God is with me and will help me to think and say and do the right thing. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may never feel inadequate to any situation. I pray that I may be buoyed up by the feeling that God is with me.
