“The magical life that comes from saying yes still amazes me.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Today's Gift

A Woman's Spirit

In recovery, we are asked again & again to share our secrets. Until we do it, however, we will not reap the benefits that are in store for us. We can only discover how much we are like others by telling them about us and then listening while they share similar stories. The intimacy that follows transforms our lives. Today, I will step out in faith, in a new space & time, and tell a friend who I really am. I will trust in the power of God on affirmation and acceptance if I choose my friend well.

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

Never underestimate the power of a kind word or act. Even if our gift does not seem to be received, our heart will soar. Love is always received in the heart of God, where we all live. Our simplest words and acts can change the world, beginning with our own. Today, I will take the little moments of life and weave them into gold.

Meditation for the Day

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

“We cannot fully understand the universe. The simple fact is that we cannot even define space or time. They are both boundless, despite all we can do to limit them. We live in a box of space and time, which we have manufactured by our own minds and on that it depends on all our so-called knowledge of the universe. The simple fact is that we can never know all things, nor are we made to know them. Much of our lives must be taken on faith. Prayer for the Day I pray that my faith may be based on my own experience of the power of God in my life. I pray that I may know this one thing above all else in the universe.”
