A Wave

“Recovery is such a mystical process.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

“The rational mind is programmed to search for errors & imperfections. But the nature of the heart is to find what is lovable & expand on that. The habit of fault-finding is learned and, as such, we can re-educate our vision to find perfection. *A Course in Miracles <acim.org/acim/en>*tells us that we are much too tolerant of mind-wandering; it reminds us that we can change all thoughts that hurt ourselves and others. Instead of being a fault-finder, become a perfection-finder. Today, help me to think in harmony and to live in the beautiful world You created.”

A Day at a Time: Daily Reflections

Hazelden Foundation

“Much of our lives depends on faith; yet do not know the limits of space & time - or explain the mysteries of life and death. When we see our Higher Power working through us - and through others who have found new life in the program, it is evidence that something greater than ourselves exists. Today, may I remember to trust in the mystery of Faith.”

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day “Withdraw into the calm of communion with God. Rest in that calm and peace. When the soul finds its home of rest in God, then it is that real life begins. Only when you are calm and serene can you do good work. Emotional upsets make you useless. Eternal life is calm; when you enter that, then you live as an eternal being. Calmness is based on complete trust in God. Nothing in this world can separate you from the love of God. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may wear the world like a loose garment. I pray that I may keep serenity at the center of my being.”
