“I don’t want to stop believin’ in a Power greater than myself.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

The Science of Mind: The Definitive Edition

Ernest Holmes

“The world seeks a solution of its great riddle—the apparent separation between God & man; between life & what it does; between the invisible & the visible; between the Father & the Son—until this riddle is solved, there can be no peace.”

A Deep Breath Of Life

Alan Cohen

“In the computer world, ‘G.I.G.O.’ = Garbage In, Garbage Out. In recovery, as we learn to let go, we affirm ‘G.I.G.O.’ = ‘Gold In, Gold Out.’ As we feed our mind golden ideas, our life will be golden! Today, I dispose of the garbage in my mind. I open a new door to accept only those ideas that lead me to freedom; to create a New life with sacred thoughts.”

Keep it Simple: Daily Meditations for Twelve-Step Beginnings and Renewal

Thought for the Day ”We had stopped believing in ourselves, in a Higher Power, in others, and the goodness of life. We mainly believed in getting high. Recovery asks us to believe in love; a deep, meaningful, Higher Love. We put aside our doubts; we start to believe in a new hope and a new peace. Believing opens the door to the healing we need; it's how we begin to let in the love & care of our Higher Power. Prayer for the Day Today, I pray for the courage to believe that I can recover. I'll let go of my doubts; I can give myself totally to Something bigger than me and all of my fears.”

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day “Even a partial realization of the spiritual connection brings hope. You feel at home in the world when you are in touch with the Divine Spirit of the universe. A spiritual experience brings a definite satisfaction. God wants us to have spiritual success; He intends that we have it. As we live our life along spiritual laws, we can expect our share of joy & peace, satisfaction & success. Prayer for the Day I pray that I will find happiness in doing the right thing. I pray that I will find satisfaction in obeying spiritual laws.”
