A Wave

September 2, 2025

“Watching the video of the bear reminded me of going to any lengths to find the next drug or drink.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

A Deep Breath Of Life

Alan Cohen

Communication is an offering. When you tell someone your truth, you must release your expectation of what the other person should do with it. They may thank you profusely, love you forever, argue with you, or ignore you. We hope the gift will be received with appreciation & thanks. But if it isn't, we must not dictate. We've done our part; we must trust the universe to do the rest. Today, I offer all my gifts to You, trusting You to use them in the highest way possible. I give and let go all to You, without attachment to results

Practicing the Presence

Richard Rohr

The most sacred, most ordinary, and most necessary practice in the spiritual life is the presence of God. When we practice the presence, we enjoy, and become familiar, with God’s divine company. As we humbly speak and look to Him for support, we lovingly are assured of His care. Every moment, without methods or limits, especially during times of temptation, pain, loneliness, exhaustion, and even disbelief and stumbling, we can breathe in His presence.
