A Wave

“Thanks for the Gift of Adjustment, rather than use resistance, blame and control.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Choosing to Become Present

Richard Rohr

“Prayer is the way to make contact with God. It is not an attempt to change God’s mind about us, or about events. Prayer is primarily about changing our mind so that things like mystery and forgiveness can resound within us. We can approach the theme of contemplation in a hundred ways, because most of us have one hundred levels of resistance, denial, or avoidance. There are many levels of unfolding & realization on the path of “the Tree of Life.” Today, help me grow in contemplative awareness of Your Love, Your Grace and Your Forgiveness; to bring comfort, understanding & richness of Living in the Now.”

Mark Nepo

“Forget about enlightenment. Sit down, wherever you are, and listen to the wind singing in your veins.”

Prayer for the Day

“Help me to embrace Your Love & Grace, and to pass it on; to seek no personal recognition for what You’ve blessed me to accomplish. Help me avoid judgment and criticism; instead, use* me to uplift a despairing spirit. Today, I pray that I may try to build up others instead of tearing them down.”
