A Wave

“In the midst of all of the moving parts, forgiveness was the one missing.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Daily Meditations on Grief, Anger & Compassion

Richard Rohr

“If we do not transform our pain & anger, we will transmit it in another form. Forgiveness of reality—including tragic reality—is the heart of the matter. All things cry for forgiveness in their imperfection, their incompleteness, their woundedness. My rage or resentment will not change any of these realities. Tears often will, though: first by changing the one who weeps, and then by moving any who draw near to the weeping. *The soul must weep to be a soul at all.”

A Deep Breath Of Life

Alan Cohen

“Richard Attenborough struggled for 18 years to get his film Gandhi produced, only to win numerous Academy Awards. Thomas Edison went through 50,000 experiments before he perfected the first alkaline battery. Alexander Graham Bell faced more than 600 lawsuits over his telephone patent. Don’t quit before the miracle. Perhaps your project and efforts will do the same. I pray to hold firmly with my truest vision; I am open to a major breakthrough. *Just for today, I will do my part, and trust God to take care of the results.”

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day Carry out God's guidance as best you can. Leave the results to Him. Believe that the guidance God gives you has already been worked out by God to produce the required results according to your case and in your circumstances. So follow God's guidance according to your conscience. God has knowledge of your individual life and character, your capabilities and your weaknesses. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may live according to the dictates of my conscience. I pray that I may leave the results to God.”
