A Wave

July 7, 2025

“The “Bomb” is exactly what happened; chasing false illusions, our lives blew up.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Listening to God’s Call

Richard Rohr

Jonah wants to do things his way, and ends up in the belly of a sea monster. There is a better way to live. I can allow life to lead me to the precipice of the newness already seeded in my heart and soul. The seed of Love. Today, trust God, the Holy Spirit, to lead you into all truth. Make your intention clear that you will follow as called, without exception. Make your intention known to God; the Holy Spirit will lead you into the fulfillment of your truest desires.

Excerpt From Immortal Diamond

Richard Rohr

Your False Self is just who you think you are—but thinking doesn't make it so. We are made for transcendence and endless horizons; yet our small ego usually gets in the way until we become aware of its petty preoccupations. Eventually, we will seek a deeper truth. Like mining for a diamond, we must dig deep; and yet we often seem reluctant, even afraid, to do so.

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day Painful as the present time may be, you will one day see the reason for it. You will see that it was not only testing, but also a preparation for the life work, which you are to do. Have faith that your prayers and aspirations will someday be answered. Answered in a way that perhaps seems painful to you, but is the only right way. Selfishness and pride often make us want things that are not good for us. They need to be burned out of our natures. We must be rid of the blocks which are holding us back, before we can expect our prayers to be answered. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may be willing to go through a time of testing. I pray that I may trust God for the outcome.
