A Wave

July 2, 2025

“It's a wonderful freedom today not to play God.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

Judgment is distinguished by emotion & fear, while discernment is based on clarity & peace. It is loving to tell the truth and hurtful to put up with a lie. If someone is not coming from a place of integrity, or is endangered by an addictive behavior, it is our duty to call the situation as we see it. Perhaps God is providing the insight that a situation needs our input? Today, God, I ask for the wisdom and the courage to call the truth as I see it; to let divine mind guide me on the right path.

In Tune with the Infinite

Ralph Waldo Trine

Within yourself lies the cause of whatever enters into your life. To come into the full realization of your own awakened interior powers is to be able to condition your life in exact accord with what you would have it.

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day In seeking things of the Spirit and in our faith, we should try to become childlike. Even as we grow older, the years of seeking can give us the attitude of the trusting child. Not only for its simple trust should we have the childlike spirit, but also for its joy in life, its ready laughter, its lack of criticism, and its desire to share. In Charles Dickens story, A Christmas Carol, even old Scrooge changed when he got the child-spirit! Prayer for the Day Today, I pray that I may become like a child in faith & hope; that I may, like a child, be friendly & trusting.
