A Wave

June 27, 2025

“Letting go is the miracle drug not found in the bottle, baggie or vial.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Thought for the Day

Thought for the Day “As we grow in recovery, we're asking our Higher Power to lead us, to guide us along this strange path called life on life’s terms. After all, who knows what is best for us - our Higher Power or us? Prayer for the Day Higher Power, I stop to give thanks for the willingness, strength & courage to step into Your world and the world of recovery. Thank You for showing me ways to be authentic; and to embrace Your love and walk forward in a new confidence.”

The Power of the Light

“When we enter a dark room and flip on the switch, instantaneously the darkness disappears, and the room is full of light. If we are open to making the effort in flipping that switch on, we become a channel for this Light. We have been given the opportunity to be a channel for the Light; to allow the Light to flow through us for the benefit of others. Help me become willing to receive Your light, to be filled with Your presence. Just for today, help me turn on The Light, that I may be a blessing to You & others.”

Meditation for the Day

Meditation for the Day Take a blessing with you wherever you go. You have been blessed, so bless others and pass on your blessings. A blessing can and does go around the world, passed on from one person to another. So take time to shed a little blessing in the heart of one person. That one person is cheered to pass it on, and so, God's vitalizing, joy-giving message travels on. Today, let me be a transmitter of Your blessings. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may embrace and be filled with all of Your blessings; to pass them on that they may flow into the lives of others.
