A Wave

“Frozen in my 1978 Chevy Van in the parking lot outside, I asked Something to help me walk in.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Sharing The Light

“In Kabbalah, there's a concept suggesting that God's existence is affirmed by our actions & beliefs; that He needs our participation in a dynamic relationship. While God is considered infinite and beyond human comprehension, this relationship is seen as a reciprocal one, with God providing light and we humans receiving and sharing it. We are seen as vessels for this Light, created to receive and reflect the divine Light. Today, help me receive Your divine Light by actively opening myself up to Your presence, and allowing Your Light to fill my being.”

Being Needed

Anonymous

“We have never heard anyone who is involved in a program of spiritual growth complain of being bored. The discoveries and excitement of spiritual exploration are limitless. Also, carrying a message of hope to those who still suffer strengthens our own hold on the serenity and security of a personal recovery. Feeling needed is the greatest encouragement we will ever receive, helping us realize that our goals can be achievable. If people stopped volunteering to fill other people's needs, the end of civilization would be close behind. My pain is forgotten and my boredom is gone when I am needed.”
