A Wave

May 14, 2025

“In the midst of tragedy & trauma, beautiful things happen.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Glad Day: Daily Meditations

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation

“What would happen if, for this day, we could remake our sense of beauty, naming each thing we see, each experience we encounter, as unique and valuable? We would refrain from judging ourselves, our circumstances, and others as insufficient or wrong.\n\nWe can begin to expand our sense of beauty by finding the good in something we formerly judged or simply ignored. Our world will look different to us if we see each thing as whole, exactly right as it is.\n\nToday, I see unexpected beauty everywhere. I am exactly where I'm supposed to be.”

A Deep Breath Of Life

Alan Cohen

“To move ahead, we cannot afford to cancel out our good work by feeding our holy mind thoughts and words to the contrary. Become aware of your subtlest indulgence in thoughts, feelings, and energies that negate the good you are trying to create. Keep coming back to what you want. Your vehicle will really begin to travel when you take your foot off the brake.\n\nI pray to keep my mind and heart on track. Help me to be faithful to my vision. I affirm the best of my visions and I let all else go.”
