A Wave

October 9, 2026

“You told me that KMS = Keep Mouth Shut, and that W.A.I.T is explained as ‐Why Am I Talking?‐ Well, sometimes I’m still guilty of both!”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Listen, Learn, and Contribute

Every person, every being, every element of creation has a particular responsibility—a role to play in the harmony of the whole. Not everyone has the same role. Some are healers, some are warriors who protect, some are farmers, some are business people, others are teachers or storytellers. Everyone knows the community can’t function without all of them. The mystics have always known that the separate self is an illusion—that we are woven into one another and into creation. Vulnerability requires not only living reflectively with ourselves but also deeply into the whole of the community.

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

Often simply speaking up moves the energy to the next level. Sometimes all we have to offer is our current experience, and that is enough. We ask for the courage to be honest. Even if we're not in touch with the ultimate truth of the universe, or if our position changes, once again, we can ask for the courage to share. Today, I pray for the confidence to be clear with myself and others.

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day God would draw us all closer to Him in the bonds of the spirit. He would have all people drawn closer to each other in the bonds of the spirit. God, the Great Spirit of the universe, of which each of our own spirits is a small part, must want unity between Himself and all His children. "Unity of the spirit in the bonds of peace." Each experience of our life, of joy, of sorrow, of danger, of safety, of difficulty, of success, of hardship, of ease, each should be accepted as part of our common lot, in the bonds of the spirit. Prayer for the Day Today, I pray that I may welcome the bonds of true fellowship. I pray that I may be brought closer to unity with God and other people.
