A Wave

June 8, 2026

“it dawned on me that the easiest way, and the most fun way to live life is to go with the flow!”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Opening to Change

“In recovery, I have been given a daily reprieve contingent upon my spiritual condition. To become ready for change, I practice willingness, opening to unlimited possibilities. If I realize there are defects that hinder my usefulness, I become ready by meditating to receive direction to change. To let go and let God, I need only surrender my old ways to Him; I no longer fight nor do I try to control; I simply believe that, with God’s help, I am changed. Affirming this belief makes me ready. As I continue to empty myself to be full of awareness, light, and love, and I am ready to face each day with a new hope.”

A Positive Relationship

Richard Rohr

“What is Divine Love? When we think that otherness can’t change us or teach us anything, we don’t give others any influence over our lives. When we block others by thinking we can stand alone, we are spiritually dead. In honest relationship with the Spirit and with others, I allow The Mystery to keep working in me and through me. I’m not in control or in charge of this Journey. I don’t even presume to fully understand It. I simply come to believe that as I continue to open and face every situation as a manifestation of God’s Love, I surrender with a deeper Faith & intimacy in Spirit.”

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Meditation for the Day Your life has been given to you mainly for the purpose of training your soul. This life we live is not so much for the body as for the soul. We often choose the way of life that best suits the body, not the way that best suits the soul. God wants you to choose what suits the soul as well as the body. Accept this belief and a wonderful molding of character is the result. Reject it and God's purpose for your life is frustrated, and your spiritual progress is delayed. Your soul is being trained by the good you choose. Thus, the true purpose of your life is being accomplished. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may choose what is best for my soul. I pray that I may realize God's purpose for my life.
