“You told me lack of power was my problem. I had never heard of that before. I thought I had the power.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Practicing the Power of Now, pp. 17-18

Eckhart Tolle

“THE BEGINNING OF FREEDOM is the realization that you are not the processing entity – the thinker. Knowing this enables you to observe the entity. The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated. You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought; that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. It is then you also realize that all the things that truly matter – beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace – arise from beyond the mind. You begin to awaken.”

Experiencing Spirituality

Ernest Kurtz & Katherine Ketcham

“Does a slice of bread fall with the buttered side up or down?” asked the Master. “With the buttered side down, of course,” the student answered. The master laughed & replied “No, with the buttered side up. Let’s put it to the test.” A slice was buttered and thrown up in the air, and it landed buttered side up. “See, I win!” proudly said the student The master then replied, “Only because I made a mistake. I obviously buttered the wrong side!”

Meditation for the Day & Prayer for the Day

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

“I can depend on God to supply me with all the power I need to face any situation, provided that I will sincerely believe in that power and honestly ask for it, while at the same time, making all my life conform to what I believe God wants me to be. I can come to God as a business manager would come to the owner of the business, knowing that to lay the matter before Him means immediate cooperation, providing the matter has merit. I pray that I may believe that God is ready and willing to supply me with all that I need. I pray that I may ask only for faith and strength to meet any situation.”
