A Wave

“I’m tired of being an angry young man.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Stepping Stones: More Daily Meditations

Hazelden Foundation

“Our egos want to hold on to protection, claiming we are entitled to feel hurt & negative. We justify these feelings, but they only keep us stuck. Realization of our entitlements begin to surface. As we get honest with ourselves, and share our expectations with another, we start changing what we can change. We begin to let go; we begin to experience a new freedom to move on. Today, help me to face my primary feelings; to let go of my entitlements, demands, expectations and all negativity that blocks me from Your Light.”

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

“We always have the energy we need when love calls. When life asks you to serve in a way that will bring healing, the little ego must step aside. The windfall of Spirit will enable you to do whatever is necessary to serve God's plan. We always have infinite energy and resources to magnify the voice of love. Breathe through me today. Give me the energy to do what will truly serve. I can do all things through God who strengthens me.”

Meditation for the Day

“I believe that complete surrender of my life to God is the foundation of serenity. I do not look upon this life as something to be struggled through, in order to get the rewards of the next life. I believe that the Kingdom of God is within us, to enjoy "eternal life" here and now. I pray that I may try my best to do God's will. I pray that such understanding, insight, and vision shall be mine, and shall make my life eternal, here and now.”
