After a very powerful experience at the Anne Frank House & Museum yesterday, Gail and I wiped the tears from our eyes as we walked out and left to get a coffee. How could people be so cruel, so ruthless, so driven by fear & resentment to want to do this?
The word “driven” is often used in our recovery program, along with the explanation, “resentment is the number one offender.”
You told me your stories, filled with illusions of grandeur, total despair, and finally an awakening. You told me I could focus on the problem, or what God could do with it.
I had no understanding or connection with God.
You showed me how to clear away negativity, uncover false beliefs, and move forward in Love & forgiveness.
Today, thanks for showing how God shines His light on us all; to get on a new path to a life of freedom filled with gratitude and blessings, rather than a life of self-pity and resentment that hurt not only myself, but all others.
