A Wave

April 12, 2025

“I made a decision then to trust the process.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Around the Year with Emmet Fox

Emmet Fox

“Many people look upon change with dread & foreboding. But for those on the spiritual path—for those who believe in God and the power of prayer—change is a fuller expression of life.\n\nWhen a problem or condition arises in your life that indicates a change, rely upon God, and realize that it is not so much that a door has closed on a chapter of your life, but rather that a door has opened on new and more interesting things.”

Dear Friend Vol II

Sandy Beach

“As you begin to balance your spiritual needs with the other pressing matters in your life, changes will occur. Ultimately, it will be your awareness of these changes, and of an accompanying spiritual power flowing in your life that will give you the faith to continue. As you consistently give nourishment to the essence of yourself, your spiritual nature, all other areas of your life will miraculously be made better.”

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

“Never underestimate the potential of a friendly smile, gentle touch, or supportive word. So many people walk the world in pain and self-doubt. Your simple gift of kindness could make all the difference in a friend’s or stranger’s day, and even save their life.\n Today, let me be a positive influence on everyone I meet. I offer myself to make a difference in all of the lives I touch; to pass on The Light of the world!”

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Hazelden Foundation

Meditation for the Day\n\nOur need is God's opportunity. First we must recognize our need. Often this means helplessness before some weakness or sickness and an admission of our need for help. Next comes faith in the power of God's spirit, available to us to meet that need. Before any need can be met, our faith must find expression. That expression of faith is all God needs to manifest His power in our lives. Faith is the key that unlocks the storehouse of God's resources.\n\nPrayer for the Day\n\nI pray that I may first admit my needs. I pray that then I may have faith that God will meet those needs, in the way, which is best for me.
