A Wave

March 1, 2025

“I have a buddy who, when discussing challenges, says , “More God, less Joe!””

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

Touchstones: A Book of Daily Meditations

“This program has given us a profound possibility for change. We discover we are able to move beyond our compulsion to drink and use by surrendering. That’s only the first miracle; then life clean and sober begins to happen! We are asked in Step 2 “Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.” Our insanity? Our ideas to manage & control other things! We must yield. We must allow ourselves to be helped. We must allow change to overtake us. Step 1 proves change comes; not when we say, "Now I deserve it," but when we are ready to accept it. Today, with new gratitude, faith & trust in Step 1, I surrender again; to open to a larger conception of the care of a God personal to me to grow deeper.”

Center for Action & Contemplation

Richard Rohr, Center for Action & Contemplation

“The inner person is the soil in which God has sown the divine likeness and image. God gave each one of us the good seed; the roots of all wisdom, all skills, all virtues, all goodness—the seed of the divine nature. It is our task to cultivate this seed and give it nourishment so that the divine image in us can grow, thrive & prosper. This is what the spiritual journey is all about. Our spiritual journey consists in nourishing, watering & caring for this God-seed that is in all of us.”

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

“If you have a dream or the sensation of departed loved ones, it is likely that they are in your field of consciousness and wish to communicate with you. There is nothing spooky about interdimensional communication; it is as real and natural as two people on different parts of the globe communicating via telephone. Everyone I’ve ever loved is always with me. Today, God, please open my eyes, mind, and heart to the highest communication in Spirit; that I may embrace a greater universe, and be blessed by love from all dimensions.”
