A Wave

“Over time, I’ve found that despair is really an invitation to let go and trust the Spirit; to embrace Grace & Love.”

Three readings. A song that says the rest. And inspiration for whatever this day is here to teach.

A Deep Breath of Life

Alan Cohen

“Today, I take a moment to reflect back on the darkness that surrounded me before recovery. Love was there all along; love had been covered up by fear, shame, despair. The message of recovery is that everything will work out. An invisible hand of Grace offers hope & love; help me to remember that You are the source of all my good; I open to Your Grace & Love for abundant New life.”

Excerpts from Rumi

Rumi

“Brother, sister, stand the pain. Escape the poison of your judges. The sky will bow to your beauty, if you do. Learn to light the candle. Rise with the sun. Turn away from the cave of your sleeping. That way a thorn expands to a rose. Come, come, come whatever you are.. Good or bad, It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vow a thousand times Come, yet again, come, come."

Twenty-Four Hours a Day

Hazelden Foundation

Meditation for the Day "And greater works than this shall ye do." We can do greater works when we have more experience of the new way of life. We can have all the power we need from the Unseen God. We can have His grace, His spirit, to make us effective as we go along each day. Opportunities for a better world are all around us. Greater works can we do. But we do not work alone. The power of God is behind all good works. Prayer for the Day I pray that I may find a rightful place in the world. I pray that my work may be made more effective by the grace of God.
